The World Athletics Championships 2023 take place in Budapest, Hungary, from 19–27 August 2023.

Medals will be awarded in 49 events across track and field and road races, while a team trophy will be presented to the best team that tops the placing table (points awarded for 1st to 8th place) at the end of the Championships.
