After leaving the station in 2021 to pursue his passion for storytelling and breaking news in Denver, he returns home as co-anchor of 16 News Now's 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. programs.

In a tentative timeline, facility planners have recommended the district close Clay High School and Warren Elementary at the end of the 2023-2024 school year. The district is expected to begin reviewing its attendance boundaries in the summer or fall of 2023.
