Ten years after the events of the first film, Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) O'Connell are settled in 1935 London, where they are raising their son. Cork B Oh geez, yeah this is escapist nonsense. But it is so over the top goofball, it borders on fantasy escapism, and as such it does a pretty good job. It also doesn't take itself too seriously, and Fraser is always fun to watch. This is really more of a saturday serial than even something like Indiana Jones.
