The mother and son fall into an unexplainable primeval land alongside a group of strangers trying to figure out where they are, and how to get back home. Left above is a daughter, who barely manages to survive the disaster, and the father, whose troubled past and hallucinations make him an unlikely choice to help solve the mystery -- and reunite the family. Hugo Rifkind Times (UK) Cut down on the cheese. Aug 5, 2022 Full Review Anita Singh Daily Telegraph (UK) If you’re happy with cheesy dialogue and characters having to run away from a CGI sabre-toothed tiger after falling into a giant sinkhole that is a portal to a prehistoric dimension, then this is the show for you. Rated: 2/5 Aug 2, 2022 Full Review Lucy Mangan Guardian To say the plot is by-the-numbers is to slander numbers. Rated: 1/5 Aug 2, 2022 Full Review Mel Campbell ScreenHub There’s a lot to enjoy here if you’re ready to check your skeptical brain at the couch … I hope that as La Brea relaxes into its storytelling, it accepts its own pulpiness more. Rated: 3/5 Aug 28, 2022 Full Review Pat Stacey Irish Independent What opens up on your screen, however, is not a sinkhole but a stinkhole, down which you’ll encounter the most idiotic plotting, coupled with the dumbest dialogue ever to emerge from a human mouth. Rated: 1/5 Aug 4, 2022 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba La Brea is everything I could have hoped for, and so, so much more. It not only knows it's a Lost knock-off, one of the characters actually references it. Oct 12, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Landon M Season 1 is the lowest rated for me between Season 2 and 3, but there is something here I have enjoyed more than other shows I've watched recently. Yes, there are problems with the show. Why is everyone so clean and well groomed? Other than that, I've enjoyed the family dynamic. It makes me want to know what happens next. Rated 3/5 Stars •Rated 3 out of 5 stars04/09/24 Full Review Sean A How did this show not get cancelled? This show has more plot holes the colander. The characters are annoying and pathetic... How did they all not win Darwin awards in the first episode? Terra Nova was cancelled after one season, which a much better show then this mess and - yet - somehow a production company thought sinking more money into this disaster was a good idea. Rated 0.5/5 Stars •Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars02/12/24 Full Review Paul G How is this possibly still airing episodes? The actors must be embarrassed. What a train wreck of a projectRated 0.5/5 Stars •Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars01/29/24 Full Review Jennifer H We enjoy watching La Brea. Wish someone would consider making more seasons! Rated 5/5 Stars •Rated 5 out of 5 stars01/18/24 Full Review Sohana A this show was trying so badly to be like Manifest. The 100 and Lost altogether but sadly ended up being so bad. The premise of the show wasn't bad but it was poorly executed. The acting was okay, but that girl who plays the daughter of the main character who doesn't have a leg is the worst actress ever. Some of her scenes are so horrendous I stg. The CGI in the show was bad so bad like please who are you fooling? I didn't even get attached to none of the characters. I only liked the Australian guy aka the Indian guy he was funny. I wouldn't trust anyone who says that is a good show that. As for actress Natalie Zea, who plays Eve, she's expected to have a reduced role in Season 3 (which makes sense, considering she's lost in the time stream). TV Line reported Zea will have a smaller role in the current and final season, but it sounds like she will eventually show up in some capacity.
La Brea season 3 premiered at 9pm ET/PT on NBC in the US and CTV in Canada on Tuesday, January 9. Episodes are available to stream on Peaco*ck and CTV's on demand service after broadcast. New episodes are airing at 9pm ET/PT on NBC and CTV every Tuesday with the series' finale due February 13.
Mark Lee as Silas (seasons 1–2), an old man residing in the fort in 10,000 BC. He is Isaiah's grandfather and Caroline's father, making him Izzy and Josh's great-grandfather. Martin Sensmeier as Taamet (season 2), the leader of the Exiles who speaks the Tongva language due to being Paara's ex-husband.
But in real life, the actress who plays Izzy compares herself to the arachnids. "I'm a spider," Zyra Gorecki says cheerfully. "I've had more than eight legs." Prosthetic legs, that is, and feet as well.
The Sydney Morning Herald also reported in 2021 that La Brea was the most expensive TV show to film in Victoria, Australia, where most of the production is shot, since Steven Spielberg's 2009 HBO series The Pacific, so it's possible the series was canceled to make way for less expensive productions, such as The ...
The actress lost her leg in a logging accident when she was 14 years old. Gorecki reportedly heard about the part of Izzy while attending Camp No Limits, a camp created for children with limb differences, and was inspired to pursue the role in the NBC drama. Watch La Brea on Peaco*ck and on NBC.
Lilly was kidnapped by Aaron and forced to pose as his youngest daughter and the sister of Veronica, who was also kidnapped. Veronica tells Ty that Aaron was a “God-fearing man”, and was very strict.
The disaster series ended up with a far more peaceful conclusion than anyone expected. Eve (Natalie Zea) reunited with Gavin, Josh and Izzy in Los Angeles in 2021. Josh found Riley (Veronica St.Clair) recovering in the hospital and admitted that he's loved her since the first moment he saw her.
Over time Veronica became less rigid as Lilly found her voice. However, the survivors started to suspect her of murder and locked her up in a car, triggering a panic attack. When veronica was proven innocent, she and Lilly decided to go to the 1988 portal to start a new life, however Veronica got stuck in a bear trap.
Actor and San Antonio native Nicholas Gonzalez, who plays Levi Delgado, says he feels like “it's the right ending” for the sci-fi drama. During the penultimate episode, which aired on February 6, Levi succumbs to a bullet wound in the abdomen and dies in the arms of his friend Gavin, played by Eoin Macken.
Silas is an elderly man with long graying hair and a beard. He wears a skin with a red handprint symbol on it, which represents protection. He wears a necklace and carries a spear.
It turned out that he's Isiah's (a.k.a young Gavin's) grandfather and the two arrived in 10,000 B.C. a few years prior without Isiah's parents, who they say died when the boy was a baby.
The first thing people need to know is that Eve — the character played by Natalie Zea, the ostensible lead of the show — is no longer around. Back in 10,000 BC, she got lost in some portal to the future at the end of season two and bleep-blop-blorped into an unknown time and place.
